Why do you only sell whole bean coffee?

When is the coffee roasted?
Our coffee is roasted in small batches to ensure freshness. Each bag includes a roast date so you know exactly when your coffee was roasted.
How should I store my coffee?
We recommend that you keep the coffee beans in their original seal bag or an airtight container, stored in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. If you are not going to consume your beans within 2 months, coffee beans can be stored in the freezer in an airtight container for up to one year.
How long does coffee stay fresh?
For best cup quality, enjoy your coffee within 8 weeks from receiving your coffee.
What is traditional to experimental scale?
Traditional coffees will exhibit flavors typically associated with coffee such as chocolate, caramel, or nuts and they are processed with traditional methods like washed coffees. Experimental coffee will have more exotic flavors such as fruits, floral notes, and honey. Experimental processing could be anaerobic honey or fermentation methods.
What is the roast level?
Roast level indicates how long the coffee beans were in the roaster. A light roast coffee spends under 10 minutes in the roaster and a medium-dark roast coffee spends around 12 to 15 minutes in the roaster.
What's the difference between a blend vs. single origin?
A single origin coffee comes from one farm and one type of coffee plant (Pink Bourbon, Caturra, Castillo, to name a few) highlighting specific flavor profiles. A blend mixes different types of coffee beans from different farms and regions highlighting a consistent flavor profile.
Can you grind my coffee?
At this time, we only sell whole bean coffee. This ensures every customer enjoys the freshest possible coffee and can grind it according to their preferred brewing method.
How do I choose the right coffee?
Each product page includes coffee type, tasting notes, roast level, processing method, origin and recommended brewing methods to help you choose the coffee you enjoy the most.
What if I don’t have a grinder?
We recommend investing in a burr grinder. Grinding right before brewing makes one of the biggest improvements you can make to take your coffee experience to the next level.
