This blend decaf is a mix of Castillo, Colombia and Caturra, three varieties of coffee that are very popular among farmers in Colombia due to their resilience during the harvest stage, combined with a washed processing and a high standard process to make these beans a decaf coffee. Perfect for those that are more sensitive to caffeine.

It all starts at the farm​

This exquisite decaf blend is nested high in the Andes Mountains. Grown by a collective of coffee farms surrounding Caicedo (the town), led by Elkin Diosa who has deep knowledge about coffee farming, thanks to his experience and experimentation with processes and fermentation methods during the years. Many of these family owned farms embrace small-scale production, carefully tending this understanding passed down through generations.

Basics of brewing

The brewing method makes a big difference! A V60 or a Chemex is a great choice for light roasted beans, For medium roasts, try French press or Mocha pot.
Ideally grind your coffee right before brewing and remember: the faster the method, the finer the grind.
The perfect water temperature for brewing coffee is between 195°F to 205°F.
